SMT System Metal Technology Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated in Malaysia in 1995 (formerly known as System Metal Technology Sdn. Bhd.). We have engaged in the manufacturing of industrial metal shelving, storage systems and related storage serial products. Our products consist of a full range of shelving and storage system of various specification, sizes and finishes. In terms of length, breadth, range and design of the products, the company is constantly adding new products to meet the needs and demand of increasing sophisticated and variety of industrial manufacturers. 

Quality of our products is greatly enhanced by our efficient, dynamic and strong customer service team. We are a growing local manufacturer and supplier in materials handling equipment, which provides boltless shelving and storage system. • SMT was a pioneer of Wire Shelving manufacturing in Malaysia.
• SMT is a long-established Manufacturer of Wire Shelving in Penang, Malaysia.
• SMT has 20 Years of experience in Wire Shelving manufacturing.
• SMT is a Certified Wire Shelving Series Manufacturer for many Major MNCs in Penang, Butterworth & Kulim.
• SMT Wire Shelving Series have gone through Certified Load Test conducted by Universiti Sains Malaysia School of Civil Engineering – the estimated maximum load the shelf can carry is about 150kg with uniform loading.
• SMT has In House Electro Polish facilities that are solely for Wire Shelving production.
• SMT Wire Shelving Series Welding point between “Wire to Wire” and “Wire to Socket” is at Maximum Welding Standard requirement.
• SMT Wire Shelving series products have gone through Special Deburring process to ensure all finished products are Without Sharp Edge.
• SMT produces Wire Shelving Series using Certified Stainless Steel Grade 304.
• SMT can customize any size of shelf required by customers.

SMT System Metal Technology Sdn Bhd is a full-service design, engineering and sheet metal fabrication company.

Standard and special precision sheet metal fabricated parts and metal stampings are our specialty. Our products are augmented by the SMT brand of service combined with extensive experience in manufacturing processes. This combination of experience and service ensures efficiency throughout the entire project, from design concept, through prototype, to the finished product.

Precision Sheet metal Fabrication

SMT’s "Sheet metal Fabrication Business Unit" caters to the specific manufacturing needs of our Direct Fulfillment Business customers. The focus of this team is to implement efficient sheet metal manufacturing processes developed by our Design, Engineering and Prototyping staff.

SMT's approach to sheet metal design, prototype and process engineering ensure the development of cost effective sheet metal products. SMT's sheet metal equipment includes Amada Press Brake, with the capabilities to do large forming of precision sheet metal products. Our punching and cutting capabilities of sheet metal includes equipment with both laser and punching capabilities. Amada with CNC precision laser and precision punching can add flexibility to our fabrication schedule.

SMT CNC Machining Division

SMT System Metal Technology Sdn Bhd Machining Division is specialized in design and fabrication of jigs and fixtures, precision machine parts, precision tools and dies, forming dies and automation machines.
